Synergy Farm Health is a progressive independent farm only veterinary practice based in Dorset serving the needs of farming communities in Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire. We also have expanding education, commercial and research portfolios allowing us to develop outside the usual veterinary sphere. Due to continued expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Commercial Manager to work with us to develop business opportunities and commercial operational processes as part of our company strategy.
Based at our main site in Dorset, you would be working closely with our Managing Director and Senior Management Team in a key role to include planning and managing daily commercial operations, identifying and commercialising R & D projects, and risk management, as well as exploring and assessing future M & A opportunities. You would enjoy interacting with teams and being part of a cohesive working environment with our marketing, procurement, IT, research and accounts teams to support the management of both existing and new initiatives whilst maintaining the brand value and reputation of our business.
The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and have relevant experience in commercial aspects of the food chain, especially veterinary, agricultural or allied industries and would have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and be a completer finisher. Proven people skills with the ability to network and experience of working at a senior level in an organisation would also be required.
