Smallholder Club Summer Meeting – Parasite Management for the Smallholder, Sponsored by Zoetis
With parasites being one of the most common causes of illness and reasons for veterinary visits on smallholdings, we have decided to focus this year’s meeting on parasite management.
The meeting will take place on June 14th at 6.30pm in Rampisham. We will discuss both internal (worms and fluke etc) and external parasites (sheep scab, blowfly etc) in various different species. We will have some of our vets, vet techs and lab staff present on the evening. We will have stations to discuss clinical signs of parasites, laboratory diagnostics available to diagnose parasites, measures available to reduce/avoid parasite burdens and treatments available to treat infected animals. There will be plenty of time to answer any questions you may have about parasite management on your smallholding. There will be refreshments provided on the evening kindly provided by Zoetis.
Booking essential.
