Sheep Worm Egg Counting Course
Sheep Worm Egg Counting Course – learn how to undertake Sheep Worm Egg Counts for your flocks
With evidence 98% of sheep flocks have at least one wormer class which won’t work effectively for worm control, the importance of sustainable and effective worm control has never been more pressing. The Sheep Worm Egg Counting Course includes a classroom review of sustainable parasite control, the role of Worm Egg Counts and a practical session in the afternoon teaches participants how to perform the “Modified McMaster Technique”. Participants are encouraged to bring their own microscope to the training day (recommendations of equipment to buy are provided in advance). The course is delivered by a member of our Sheep Veterinary Team and the Synergy Laboratory Team for a “top-tip packed” session. A course designed for flocks aspiring to achieve a high throughput of worm egg count samples.
