Sheep Lameness – Review and Management – Training course
Infectious lameness in the sheep sector is a significant driver of antibiotic usage, whilst being a significant production limiting disease and threat to sheep welfare. In order to manage infectious lameness we often need a whole flock approach. A day course including practical session, reviews sheep lameness management and the Five Point Plan. It is an opportunity to review the evidence for use of antibiotics in your flock, the role of foot bathing, the use of vaccination and the role of trimming. The course is suitable for shepherds of all levels of experience and recommended for those where whole flock lameness is a key action point from their Flock Health Plan.
