Due to the escalating number of cases of bird ‘flu (in both farmed and wild birds) across the country, APHA have introduced mandatory housing measures to protect poultry for all keepers of over 50 birds, and all flocks who sell or give away eggs (even if they keep fewer than 50 birds). These measures come into force on Thursday 6th November. Strict biosecurity measures remain mandatory. Please check GOV.UK for the latest information.
