Ed is interested in all aspects of bovine health and dairy farming in general, but in particular the diagnosis and control of infectious diseases. He has set up many successful vaccination programmes for clients and currently oversees the infectious diseases strand of the SWHLI scheme. Ed has forged close links with many individual herds in the practice, and enjoys working to improve their health and productivity. He especially enjoys this challenge on larger farms and robotic dairy units. Ed also runs Synergy's discussion group for dairy farmers in the Chard area.
Ed is well known to many clients through the Crewkerne Farmer's Skittle league where he plays in Jereme's team and helps to run the league. He also follows the Seavington Hunt with his ill disciplined terrier, Teapot, and is a keen skier and gardener. Ed lives near South Petherton with his fiance, two dogs, one horse and assorted poultry.
