We are a training practice for veterinary students who come to experience large animal practice under our guidance whilst studying for their degrees. Synergy is committed to EMS and welcomes students who are enthusiastic and positive about large animal practice. We are keen to be part of the development of the future lifeblood of the industry.

Learning Programme

Many of the vets in the team came to the practice as students and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that they came back to work here following graduation. The Practice encourages students to fully participate in all activities on farm, office and socially. We will develop an individual learning programme that covers all veterinary aspects but also focus on any specific interests the student may have.

Expertise

We have nineteen practising vets who cover all the main farm species. The team offers huge experience both at a practical level but also with more in depth application from the vets who have further qualifications in Cattle Health and Production and Diplomas in Bovine Reproduction. Within the team we have five Paraprofessionals who are also focussed to delivering good solutions to our clients. Time spent with this team can be invaluable in learning how to handle stock.

Atmosphere

Whilst we are one of the larger Farm Practices in the country the team works very closely and a good sense of humour always abounds.
